School of International Education is going to organize the 2012 Autumn Cultural Trip for international students on Nov.3rd(Saturday) .We have arranged three tourist routes (1、Shanghai；2、Song Dynasty Town in Hangzhou；3、Jiande) for your choice.
Shanghai,China's biggest and most prosperous city, oozes an atmosphere of vitality, and a dynamic which can rival New York andParisin terms of modernity. We will visit the Madame Tussaud's、Chenghuang Temple and the Bund in Shanghai (nearly 3 hours single trip, lunch not included).
SongDynasty Town is the first largest and biggest theme park featuring the civilization of Song Dynasty inChina.The Song Dynasty ruledChinafrom 1127 to 1279 is really a period of prosperity inChina. The town can be divided into six parts, reappearance of the Painting "Riverside Scene on Qingming Festival",Nine Dragon Square,Song Dynasty Town Square, Fairy Hills with Wonderful Towers,EmperorPalacesand the Romance of the Song Dynasty. Besides, shows and plays featuring Song culture are performed. (less than one hour single trip, lunch not included).
Jiande Daciyan Scenic Area is famous for its combination of Buddhist culture and beautiful landscape. We will visitDaciyanTemple, taste rural dishes and pick oranges in Jiande (It charges if you take oranges out of the orchard).
You can choose one of the above routes according to your preferences. The trip is for free. If you have interest to join the cultural trip, please fill the application form and register in your class monitor. Thank you.
Remark: Once you have chosen the route, you can not change your decision. The deadline for registration is Oct.26th(Friday). We will give you further notice about the schedule.
