The winter holiday starts from January 24. Please read the following notice carefully.
1. About the Office:
There will be a teacher on duty during the normal working days. The working hours are from 8:30 to 16:30. If you have any problems during the holiday, please check the following working duty form and find the teacher to help you.

2. About the Meal：
The Xi-he Dinning Hall opens during the holiday.
Breakfast time 7:00—8:30
Lunch time 11:00—12:30
Supper time: 16:30—18:00
The other dinning halls will close during the holiday.
3. About Safety:
1) Obey all Chinese laws and university regulations.
2) It is forbidden to use electric blanket, immersion heater, infrared heater and any other high-power dangerous electric equipments in the dorm.
3) Precautions must be taken against gas or electricity related accidents. Do not smoke in bed or light a candle in your room. Cigarette light and kindling for various purposes should be put out promptly. Don’t play fireworks in the dormitory or surrounding areas. Electric geyser should be unplugged when and after taking a shower. TV sets should be unplugged after watching. For saving energy, students should turn off all the electric appliances when you leave, especially the air-conditioner.
4) It is not allowed to cook food in your room. If you need to cook, please go to the public kitchen.
5) Quietness should be maintained in the dorm. Students are not allowed to make undue noise by yelling or turning up radio/Hi-fi. Nor can they indulge themselves in excessive drinking, gambling, or holding evening dancing parties.
6) Take good care of your belongings and valuables. Keep the door and windows locked when you are out or sleeping.
7) Visitors can not stay overnight in the dormitory and should register leave before 22:00.
8) Be safe if you go for traveling.
9) Pay attention to food hygiene.
10) Keep warm and take good care of yourself in the cold winter, but don’t use the AC all the time, often to open the door and windows to keep the air fresh is preferred, and you should take more exercises in the morning or evening which will keep you healthy.
4. About the Dorm:
1) Students who stay in dorm during the holiday should check your card’s expiry date. If it’s before Feb 26th, you’d better pay and extend your room card before Jan 24th.
2) If you change your date to move outside or leave for home, you’d better tell Miss Tina in advance, we will arrange the teacher or aunt on duty that day to check out and do refund for you.
