Zhejiang University of Science and Technology (ZUST) participated in the Shandong Dragon Boat Competition 2018 in Tai Er Zhuang, Shandong. ZUST Dragon Boat Team consisting of 16 international students participated amongst 24 other teams from different universities and social group coming from all over China.

This year was the first time for our international students to participate in national level Dragon Boat Competition. Our team trained for a month with high dedication and sacrifice. This lead to ZUST securing 1st position amongst all of the foreign teams and the 13th position in the whole competition. Peking University and Shandong University got the 1st and 2nd position respectively. All of the participating teams got honorary Trophy.

As we always focus on cultivating talents with quality of curricular and extra-curricular activities, ZUST is very happy to arrange such activities in and out campus. All the students are warmly welcomed to join and explore China and Chinese Culture.
