A Letter to Students

Dear students,

Winter holiday is approaching. In order to have a safe, happy and meaningful holiday, ZUST remind you of the holiday safety guidelines which are as follows:

1. Arrange your work and rest time reasonably. Make reasonable holiday schedule including study, sports, rest and so on.

2. Foster good living habits; do not smoke, gamble or drink excessively. Cherish your life and stay away from drugs.

3. Pay attention to traffic safety and observe traffic regulations when traveling or visiting friends.

4. Abide by social morality and public order. Be careful with your valuables and take cautions when use electricity, water, fire and so on.

5. When students are doing part-time work or internships outside, keep cautious and avoid being conned.

6. Students should cut off the power in your room if you leave your room for a long period of time.

7. It is forbidden to cook in your room, please use the public kitchen.

8. Do not carry large amounts of cash around with you; do not take the illegal amount of passengers on bikes. When you return to school at the end of the holiday, take care of your wallet and valuables in crowded places.

9. The new semester begins from February 28th and class for degree students starts from 29th 2016. Class for Chinese language students starts March 6. Come back to class in time and do not miss class.

10. If you go back to your country, prepare for 2016 ZUST Culture Exhibition and bring handicrafts, traditional clothes or stuff with national feature.

11. You can also bring a book with your country’s language and donate it to the International Corner of ZUST library with your name written on it.

12. In a word, we hope you make a reasonable plan about the winter holiday and greet the arrival of the new semester with abundant energy. Wish everyone to have a nice holiday!
