May 8th, the international foreigners’ "Chinese Bridge" qualifying contest on Hangzhou area, was held in Zhejiang University of Technology Zhaohui campus. There were 14 colleges and universities participated in this contest including Jiangxi Normal University. It was one of CCTV annual cultural brand activities and showed an exciting Chinese competition to all.

"Fully learn Chinese, well read Chinese" - the theme of this competition was still to show students’ comprehension of Chinese language from listening, speaking, reading, writing and translation, all five aspects. It focused on the students’ ability to listen and speak. Its rules made some changes this year and the competition between the competitors became more intense than ever. After one day’s test, Wanda, Annular, and Vandalia, three students from our school had entered the final. Luckily, Polish students Vandalia got the key to compete in Beijing and successfully entered the Top 100. She would go together with other four finalists’ from Zhejiang University, Zhejiang University of technology, Wenzhou Medical College, as representatives of Hangzhou area.

Competitions for foreign students studying in China created a platform for exchanging Chinese learning experience. It could help them to find a more suitable way to learn Chinese and have more confidence to well learn it. We gave our best wishes to Vandalia to achieve better results and win the honor for ZUST.
