In order to protect the safety of students and normal teaching orderof the university,based onactual situation ofZUST, ten special provisionsconcerningstudents’ safetyare formulated and all students are expected to obeythem.

IItisstrictly prohibited to engage inany ofthe following activitiesduring your study period at ZUST.

(I) To swim in the Ximi Lake or otherwild ponds, lakes, riveroutof thecampus.

(II) To overlook or play on the top of theBuddhastatue.

(III) To engage in activities in the place where the safety warning signsclearlyprohibits.

(IV) To play alone in the mountainsor climb the mountains after 6:00 pm.

(V) To usenaked flameorsmoking in the forests of the campus.

(VI) To play at the side of the river during the flood prevention period.

(VII) To enter theinfrastructuralconstructionsites in the campus without permission.

II It is strictly prohibitedto organize any collective outingswithoutthepermissionofschool.

IIIIt is strictly prohibitedtoleave schoolwithout permission orleave without sayinganything.

IVIt is strictly prohibitedto surf the Internet overnight or surf the net in theinternet cafesoutside the campus during the teaching time.

VIt is strictly prohibitedto do the following things:

(I)To pull wires, telephone lines, cablewithout permission

(II)To usehigh-poweredelectrical appliances

(III)To use candle or other forms of naked flame

(IV)To takecomputers, television sets, washing machines into dormitorywithout permission

VI It is strictly prohibitedtorentand live off-campus; to stay the night out of the dorm or allow other people to stay the night in the dorm.

VIIIt is strictly prohibitedtoplaypoker, mahjong, chess,games, watch entertainment televisionorother entertainment activitiesin the class time andmorning and evening self-taught learning time(specific time: 7:30 amto11:45am, 1: 30pmto 4:30pm, 6:30pmto 9:00pm)

VIIIIt is strictly prohibitedto drivemotorcycles, fuel scooters and other motor vehiclesin the campus; it is forbidden to carry others withelectricalmotorbikes or bikes.

IX It is strictly prohibitedto watch, copy,distribute illegal,eroticaudio and video products, books, websites

X It is strictly prohibited to participate in a variety of activities with gamblingorsuperstitionnature.

Anyonewho violatesthose10special provisionsshall be punished withSchoolReprimand,Warning,SeriousWarning,Demerit,Probationor Expulsion based onthe seriousness of the case.

The special provisionsareinterpretedby the Student Affairs Office and implementedfrom the date ofitspublication.
