On September 30th, the class meeting of 2016/17 Confucius Institute Scholarship
Students - Life was held successfully in our alumni house. Many people attended the class
meeting, including the deputy director of the International Student Affairs Center, teachers
dealing with the scholarships and roughly 20 scholarship students.
During the meeting, the students gave their own opinions and questions which were
related to daily life at the University. And the teachers in charge of the Confucius Institute
Scholarship Students explained our school regulations to international students. Safety
education was made from the following parts: Accommodation Safety, Traffic Safety, Food
Safety, Property Safety, and Visa Reminder.
After this, many students also registered for both activities, “Foreign Lei Feng is coming”
and “one to one” team pair for Chinese and international students (organized by other
international students voluntarily). Through this class meeting, we achieved many of our
goals that helped us strengthen the publicity of the Confucius Institute Scholarships
and promoting the communication between teachers and students.
