In 1998, he received his doctor degree in the School of Science, Zhejiang University. From 2002 to 2003,he conducted a post doctoral research at Simon Fraser University (SFU) and The University of British Columbia (UBC) in Canada.

Academic Achievements

Had finished 5 projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, 4 projects supported by provincial and ministerial level scientific research, and more than 10 other projects. Had the cumulative research funds 300 million. Presided over one provincial key disciplines, one provincial key professional, one provincial quality courses.Won 3 awards of the provincial science and technology progress. Published 3 textbook. Published more than 100 academic papers. Invited to do more than 40 academic reports in China and abroad. Hosted the international conference 3 times.

Since 1990, he held the position of the director of math department and deputy dean of the faculty of science in Ningbo University . During 2002 to 2009, he successively held postdoctoral research positions at the University of British Columbia (UBC) and Simon Fraser University (SFU) in Canada, and worked as a visiting scholar at the National Mathematics Research Center of Peking University, the International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) in Italy, the National Central University of Taiwan, the Wayne State University (WSU) in USA. From 2010, he worked at ZUST, as dean of the School of Science at present.
