报告摘要：Let $G$ be a simple graph of order $n$ and let $\mu$ be an adjacency eigenvalue with multiplicity $k\geq1$.A star complement $H$ for $\mu$ in $G$ is an induced subgraph of order $n-k$ with no eigenvalue $\mu$.In this talk we will explain how star complement technique is used in spectrum theory of signed graphs.
